Candida: A Diet You Can Live With

Overview

Eighty percent of Americans, at some point in their lives, create a condition know as Candida. Candida is an overgrowth of yeast in the body. We are supposed to have what is called "friendly bacteria" in our colon. It is part of our immune system. It's main function is to keep bad bacteria from entering the body. It is one of our protective shields of the body. The problem is that most American's have killed off their friendly bacteria. And no one knows it. It's one of the best kept secrets in America... one that manages to keep most of us very ill.

Symptoms of yeast may include but are not limited to, depending upon how long you have had the condition: bloating stomach, tiredness, depression, anxiety, headaches, allergies, muscle aches, inability to concentrate, digestive problems, skin rashes, kidney/bladder infections, yeast infections, and blurred vision - does this sound like you?

It is not difficult to get rid of yeast once you get it. The most important thing you must begin with is getting your digestion in order. It is essential to healing a yeast condition quick and easily. In my experiences, a person can completely eliminate a yeast problem in four weeks if the digestion is brought under control and the dietary changes are established. The most important nutrient to get back into your system is a high-quality Acidophilous supplement. Once you stop feeding the yeast and reintroduce the friendly bacteria again through the use of Acidophilous, the body will begin to heal itself.  A digestive cleanser is also essential to heal yeast.

Another very important supplement to include in your daily regiment would be a top quality yeast-free B-Complex or Multi vitamin. The majority of yeast people seem to be B-complex deficient which is one of the reasons for the feeling of great tiredness and inability to handle stress. B-complex is also essential in helping us to get a good night's sleep. So make sure to include this important supplement in your morning routine.

Candida lives on certain foods. The trick here is to STOP FEEDING THE YEAST! As you kill off the bad bacteria, you balance the body back out by introducing the good bacteria in the form of a friendly bacteria supplement (acidophilous). In order to stop feeding the yeast, you have to eliminate the foods that yeast lives on. What I have found these past years is that yeast likes certain foods only... and for every food you cannot have there are many you can. What we are really doing here is reintroducing your body back into the foods that will help to nourish it. Remember that yeast assists in breaking down the immune system. What you have to do is build it back up and the quickest way to do that is to nourish it with real food.
