Symptoms of chemical sensitivities are: Bouts of anger and streams of tears, skin rashes and headaches, inability to focus, digestive problems, swollen glands, boils, hives, acne, sinusitis, swelling of hands and feet, dizziness, urinary problems, environmental allergies and uncontrollable shaking. Maybe there are more; these I am sure of. How am I sure? Joshua taught me. Who is Joshua? He is my son who came to teach me and everyone else about chemical sensitivities. And he is very good at his job!
What he has taught me so far is that when we poison our environment we poison our children. I can only speak for me, but I do not want to poison my children. He also taught me that each symptom he experienced was unique to the poisoning itself. Different chemicals created different symptoms. Joshua was a great teacher.
At first I thought he was a challenge. As time went on, I realized he was a gift. The more he taught me, the more I could teach others. Now I am hoping to teach you.
It is not easy to live chemically sensitive in a world surrounded by chemicals. And yet Joshua had to do just that. It was frustrating for all of us, including Josh. Eventually, this too became his lesson, for the more he was frustrated, the more sensitive he became. In the end, learning to heal his own frustration allowed him to create peace within himself which was his true path to healing.
Josh's story is amazing and enlightening and I am happy to share it with you by clicking on the link below:
