Healing Emotions: using flower essenses

Depression Flowers

Depression manifests three ways in the physical body, as exhaustion, as crying and as hormonal imbalances.

Gentian

Skeptical; dwell on the problem not the solution. Discouraged by setbacks.. 1/2 empty not 1/2 full. Succumb to doubt and pessimism. Discouragement manifests in the adrenal glands and will create exhaustion in the system; the opposite of which is excitement, which helps to stimulate the adrenal glands.

Gorse

Little hope; world is dark and menacing place; no hope of improvement or betterment ahead. Loss of faith.. little can be done to improve a condition. The Gorse depression is one that is feeling of being lost and alone in a dark, cold world.

Mustard

Unexpected bouts of depression or inner darkness..mood swings.. feeling of depression comes from outside of you. The Mustard depression comes and goes and the person who experiences these states is unaware of the reasons for the depression. Most often I see Mustard manifest as hormonal imbalances. I have used mustard during times of fluctuating periods for the young as well as hot flashes for the old.

Sweet Chestnut

Hit rock bottom, extreme state of despair - no way out! Extreme mental anguish or suffering.. breaking point has been reached. Sense of utter aloneness or abandonment.. test of faith. The Sweet Chestnut is a very deep depression with the feeling that all is lost.
