Healing Emotions: using flower essenses

Flowers and Chakras

This section gives information on how the chakras relate to the different aspects of our lives. The flowers noted under each chakra gives you an idea how these energies affect us in our daily lives. This does not mean you should use each of these flowers to balance Chakras. Instead, study the different energies of each flower and see which one might be more appropriate for your own use.

The body will speak to us to let us know where our energies are stuck. For instance, if you tend to manifest chronic sinus infections, this area of the body relates to 6th chakra energy. One of the flowers noted for the 6th chakra might be helpful to balance this energy back to the positive aspect of who you are. If you tend to manifest chronic throat problems, it is most likely an indication that one of the flowers for the 5th chakra might be beneficial in changing this energy.

First chakra energy deals with the question, "Who am I?"

In order to answer this question, we must ultimately be able to disconnect from the energy of others.

Larch allows us to experience self-assurance.
Honeysuckle grounds us in present energy and allows us to disconnect from past experiences.
White Chestnut teaches us to disconnect from the worries of the past.

Knowing who you are requires the ability to be in present moment.

Second chakra energy asks the question, "How do I relate to others?" In order to do this effectively we must first know who we are independently of others (first chakra energy). Only then can we share our lives with others in a healthy manner.

Heather allows us to see that a clear understanding of self is only attained as we recognize how we independently relate to others.
As we grow with the understanding of where we fit into our relationships, gentian keeps our focus on the excitement of our experiences with others.
Pine enables us to learn to disconnect from the tribe in first chakra energy and at the same time connect with the tribe in second chakra energy without the feelings of guilt that is often associated with family.

Healthy relationships are those that are easily experienced.

Third chakra energy asks, "How do I relate to my world?"

Chestnut Bud......Experience through movement forward
Impatiens allows us to slow down so that we may experience all the beauty that surrounds us.
Gorse opens the doorway toward hope.
Cerato allows us to come to a personal knowing of interconnectedness with all.
Chestnut Bud allows us to move forward to create new patterns that we love.

Releasing fear allows movement to the heart through understanding and compassion.

Fourth chakra brings us to the question of, "Do I continue this journey with love?" This is the place where we choose to connect the physical world to our spiritual world.

Aspen allows us to experience the unknown without fear.
Mimulus allows us to see our known fears and face them with courage.
Wild Oat will moves us in the direction of our spiritual gifts.

Love becomes the vibration of the spiritual being.

Fifth chakra asks the question, "How do I get to where I am going?"

Elm allows us to take our steps in peace.
Beech allows us to take our steps in flexibility and non-judgement.
Hornbeam allows the steps to be taken with balance.
Chicory moves us toward gratitude and appreciation for each step we take.

Living in our own truth becomes the way.

Sixth chakra energy asks the question, "How do I love myself and others?"

Centaury allows us to move to the top of our own list and at the same time, teach others to be at the top of their list.
Holly helps us to create a space of joy in our lives.
Willow brings about forgiveness for any past injustices we have done to others or others have done to us.

Seeing the beauty within myself and all becomes the way.

Seventh Chakra energy asks the question, "How do I create in my life?"

Agrimony allows us to create with truth.
Oak allows us to create through play.
Cherry Plum allows us to create without drama.
Water Violet allows us to create with understanding.
Walnut allows us to change our direction whenever we choose.
